Tips for caring for your flowers:

Confetti Mix Basket:
Water calibrachoa generously, soaking the soil around the roots, and then don’t water again until the top 1 to 2 inches of soil feel dry. Calibrachoa is relatively drought-tolerant and prone to rot in soggy soil. Watering the soil instead of the foliage also helps prevent rot.

Add a slow-release fertilizer to the soil at planting time. Thereafter, feed the plant monthly, using a water-soluble fertilizer with a ratio such as 20-10-20. Always water immediately after applying fertilizer.

Trim the plant in midsummer or anytime calibrachoa begins to look tired and less vibrant. Calibroacha isn’t fussy and is safely trimmed back to the point where it looks neat and tidy. Blooming decreases for a few days but rebounds quickly as trimming the plant stimulates new growth.

Fuschia Basket:
Hang fuchsia baskets in areas of the garden that offer partial to full shade; fuchsias perform poorly in high heat and sun exposure. Place them in areas such as porches. Maintain moist, well-drained soil with good fertility. Fertilize outdoor hanging basket fuchsias once a month with a soluble, complete fertilizer. Cease fertilization in the fall.

Boston Fern Basket:
To care for a hanging fern basket, place it in indirect sunlight, keeping the soil consistently moist but not waterlogged, allowing the top inch of soil to dry between waterings. Increase humidity by misting the fronds daily or placing a humidity tray nearby. Feed with diluted liquid fertilizer every 4-6 weeks during the growing season and remove dead fronds regularly. Protect from cold drafts, monitor for pests, and repot every 1-2 years. With these steps, your fern should thrive.
